Add a feature to mute users in text channels

I know that blocking exists, but sometimes I can't block users I find bothersome in certain discords. This is because usually they are ones that I want to stay in, but if I block certain users, I will end up being questioned by some people(sometimes leadership) if the person finds out I blocked them. This is usually so that they can help mediate the situation, but quite frankly I don't want to deal with that a lot of the time. Also, sometimes I don't want to block someone, I just don't want to see their text posts for a bit. So I would like to request a mute feature on user profiles, so that we may hide the messages of other users, but not have to fully block them from @'ing/DM'ing us.
