Nitro is just pain

Look, I know nitro is probably your main earning source, but its just too expensive and the fact that we can't even upload a short video because we need nitro is just too much. Is there any way that nitro can be removed? because just like me many people can't get their card because of weird laws. And some countries don't even allow international payments like Nepal etc , we can't even create a PayPal account. So, making Discord completely free will make almost all of discord users happy. I can guarantee that noone will be sad because they don't need to pay for emojis and posting videos.

    They do have to pay the developer team and whatnot. Nothing is free if it is continuously maintained and developed, you would just have to pay in some other ways than using subscription. And I personally wouldn't want to see ads or my information being sold like other free-to-use platforms do. 

    Uploading videos - you can use media sharing sites and share the link, or compress the file.

    Using emotes from other servers - the cheapest option would be using Nitro Classic. Until then, I do think the default emotes are alright for something that comes free.

    Well yeah I understand that, but i dont really think anyone wants to go through compressing files or some other shit just to upload a video that's more than 8MB. I understand that discord needs to pay the devs for all their work, but maybe they can consider file limit to like atleast 50MB? 8MB literally gets you no where, its 2022 8 mb is like 8kb nowadays and noone is gonna want to go through uploading files somewhere and copy pasting the link just for 1 video or a photo. That's just stupid in my opinion

    And I already stated that i can't create a cc or a PayPal account in my country, and i can definitely bet that alot of users have the same issue, so no we cant pay for anything, even if the nitro was worth like 0.00001$ we wont be able to buy it, and yeah we also want to enjoy all the nitro perks
