feedback on the new vc text channel feature!

earlier today, i noticed this, and i assume it's a test feature since it's only in two servers i'm in.  i have a few suggestions for how it would function!

so when you click on the voice channel itself, you automatically join the call.  when you click on the button, it opens a window like this

this is a very good idea for a feature!  most servers already have separate text channels to correspond to voice channels, and having multiple voice channels with corresponding text channels can make a server very bloated with unnecessary channels.  combining both into one channel so that each vc automatically has a corresponding text channel built into it, is very nice!

i notice that sending a message in this vc text channel does NOT highlight the channel with a new message notification, as is the case with normal text channels.  one suggestion of mine is to make this the case.  server members should always be aware when a new message is sent in any channel!  if they dont wish to be notified of new messages in a specific channel, theres already a feature to mute those channels!

my main suggestion is to remove the "open chat" button, and make it so that clicking on the voice channel has the function of it!  it opens the chat window, instead of immediately joining the call!  then, if users wish to join the call, they can press the big green "join voice" button!  first of all, navigating to the small button to open the text chat is pretty awkward and it only appears when you hover over it, and i'm surprised i even noticed it existed in the first place.  second of all, accidentally joining a voice call because you clicked the wrong channel is very frustrating and embarrassing and it happens to users a lot.  i am absolutely sure that almost everyone would appreciate having a buffer to stop this from happening.  having to press one extra button when you want to join a call would not be that much of a hinderance, ESPECIALLY when that extra button press ALSO opens up the voice call's corresponding chat window

and a tangent, while i'm on the topic.  please give users a confirmation window before they start a call with someone.  the app already has a confirmation window for SWITCHING from one vc to another, so just use that for starting calls in general.  its very easy for users to misclick and press the "start voice call" button, or accidentally mash the hotkey to start a voice call, and its embarrassing when it happens.  having a buffer would be very appreciated, and like i said before, i'm sure no one would mind having to press another button to join a call.  voice calls are fairly high commitment activities, so the extra commitment in the action to start them would be warranted
