Compact mode revamp - Quality of Life

I really enjoy the compactness of older IRC clients, so I thought Discord compact mode was great. I tried it, but it is missing 2 features that would make is usable.

1. Giving every name that speaks in a group chat it's own coloured nametag so that it is easy to recognize who is speaking without reading their name.

2. Having users name displayed just once when typing multiple messages.

This would make using compact mode very pleasant.

  I would LOVE something similar to the old AIM or MSN program style (size customization) for chatting! Like IRC, they were compact and didn't take up a ton of screen-space! Plus they used far fewer computer resources than discord currently does! Right now I merely have discord open, no servers opened either, no active chats going, and it's minimized. Still, it's using about 76mb of resources (looking at Task Manager). It can go a fair bit higher when I'm actually using it though.
