Disable voice text channels per voice channel

I'm not thrilled that this feature is being forced on us as it does not suit how my server works. My only option is to disable people's ability to send messages in the channel, but this will still retain the cluttered and confusing extra icon next to the voice channel name.

I wish to be able to control whether a voice channel has a text channel in the voice channel's options.

  I have same issue too, this feature is coming to front again and again even we don't need it on my cheap laptop under 100.
