How does discord determine which chanells to send the community updates?

I've been curious about this question for a while, because whenever discord sends a text message with a comm. update it always goes into the chanell that it is mean to, not just in a random chanell, so how does it determine where to send the updates to?

    Server settings -> Community -> Overview -> Community updates channel.
