Update Electron!

Please update Electron! This would not only benefit Linux users, it would also benefit windows & mac with better performance. Some community members have even done most of the hard work for you! All you need to do is merge a pull request and make whatever changes are necessary for Discord to continue functioning.

    Yeah, this is getting to be ridiculous.  The app performance is just abysmal on Linux because of this, and the number of unpatched Electron exploits are a major liability waiting to happen.

    The PR has been sitting for almost a year at this point. The amount of negligence that the dev team shows is absolutely insane.
