Allow minimizing of thread lists in sidebar (like categories)

Categories can be collapsed/expanded client-side and this allows you to reduce the clutter in the sidebar of each server quite considerably. It's a nice way to ensure the channels you care about are more accessible without filtering through a bunch of content.

It would be really nice if this functionality extended to channels with threads attached. Please allow us to minimize/collapse channels in order to hide the threads from view.


I know it is possible to 'leave' the threads in order to hide them, but this is not an ideal solution by any means.

I also appreciate this will probably be the default with the new 'forum' channel type, but I expect it would still be nice to have for regular non-forum text channels in future.

  Forum channels are great, but the fact that they take up so much room in the channel list is unfortunate.
