Add SOME Way to Avoid Seeing Statuses for Specific People

I encounter it often enough that somebody has a status I find irritating for whatever reason. And what can I do about it? Absolutely nothing. Not one. Single. Thing. If I keep seeing them in my DM chats or on my friend's list, sure, I could remove them, and that might solve that particular issue (though that seems a stupid, extreme solution), but what if they're often in the top of server member lists in servers I frequent? What then?

"Just block them" you might say. No. I've tried. I still see them in the server list, and I can still see their stupid status. It changes literally nothing. It just makes them unable to message me and makes me see a "Blocked messages" space where their messages would otherwise be in a server. It does nothing against their name, avatar, or status in the server member list.

"lol why do you read it then?" I can't help it if I have a tendency to sight-read. I always have, ever since I learned to read, and yes, it's actually very common. And besides, this also applies to statuses that might have seizure-inducing emojis in them, or otherwise unpleasant imagery (sexual innuendos with emoji, anyone?).

While there's at least /some/ amount of control over people's potentially obnoxious avatars (mostly thinking animated ones here), there's no way to hide names or statuses. At all. Why can I still see someone's status if I block them? Can't I at least count on /that/ to remove these nuisances? Or a "don't see statuses in this server" option, which would be an obnoxiously excessive solution, but it would /work/. Or maybe an option to hide a specific user's status, until it's changed or forever. Or, perhaps, something similar to the spoiler feature where you can hide specific statuses or all statuses (within criteria like a specific server, blocked, not on friends list, etc or not), and it'll display "Hidden Status" until you click it, and then, only as long as you're focused on the server, and go back to being covered as soon as you leave and come back.

This can't be that hard to implement. And I can't be the only one bothered by this complete inability to avoid obnoxious statuses. And maybe this shouldn't be in default blocking, in case you /want/ to see someone's statuses for whatever reasons, but maybe as an option. (Why shouldn't I be able to customize how much my blocking hides people from my personal view? I often want to block because I don't want to see them in the server list, either, but it's completely useless on that front.)

If there's some option I missed, someone please point me to it, because I dug through all of Discord's options before making this, and saw nothing for it. I don't care if I have to stop seeing all statuses forever, I just want some sort of /option/. Please.
