Documentation
TOPIC 1
On the View as Role FAQ page the term View as Role was not immediately recognizable as a single meaning. I would suggest that it could be more easily understood if presented as View-as-Role.
TOPIC 2
As an inexperienced Discord user trying to find the meanings of different terms used in the Discord, I suggest you add a glossary of words and phrases that are used in your documentation. Many people will know what their meaning, if they don't, then the glossary will be useful to make learning easier and more precise.
The docs I've been reading are mostly tutorial in nature. I really like docs that also explain the architecture including the elements that make it up and explain how they interact.
Below are some words I have encounters while today that are not exactly clear as to what they mean in the context of Discord. I listed what I think the attributes of each. I have added some words that I think should be in the glossary but have not found them in what I have read so far.
MEMBER: These are the people who have joined the server. They both consume the content and create the content.
CONTENT: (I haven't seen content so far.) Content is the whole reason for the server. It is the information that the members have contributed to the server so that other members can read, see or hear.
CHANNEL: There are two types of channels; text or live media (audio and/or video) Channels hold the content in the server. Each channel has a name.
CATEGORY: Categories are used to group channels that have something in common. Each category has a name.
PERMISSION: A permission is an attribute that controls what can be done in the server. Each permission has a unique name. (I'm guessing about this last one.) The permissions are part of Discord and can not be changed.
ROLE: A role contains one of more permissions. Each role has a unique name that starts with an "at" sign (@) A role has one or more permissions. Roles are applied to members which, in turn allow them access and/or change to various parts of the server.
