Discord is being impersonated

As it currently stands accounts are being compromised due to an elaborate scam.

What is the scam?

The scam involves joining an innocent appearing discord server, however the server is far from it, it contains disgusting imagery of all kinds that breaks Discord's ToS. Upon joining this server, a well known bot called MEE6 will notify you of this urging you to go to Discord's trust and safety team followed by a link to a forum post on the Official Discord Site(example: https://support.discord.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/8017724207767-Account-Appeal-Procedure) to make an appeal preventing your account getting locked. Basically, a team of scammers have impersonated Discord on their own platform, and it is from this forum post that they then navigate you off of discord to what also looks like a legitimate live chat support service. It is not fully understood what goes on at this stage in the scam however it is known that accounts are getting stolen/compromised.

What should I do?

Upvote this post hopefully getting Discord's attention. Make tickets addressing this issue. Make other threads and link them in the comments for others to upvote
