Option to revert image uploading to previous version

In the recent update Discord added a feature when uploading images/videos in which there is a new "browse photos" button. This has limited me to only being able to scroll down through my saved images only a short distance before being halted and prompted to search my files. I understand that this was most likely introduced for convenience, but it is an imposed hassle on me. Previously, if I wished to look through my files to upload an image, I would open my gallery and select to share the image via discord, but I only ever used this for images saved years ago. Normally I prefer to scroll down through the images on the discord app until I find what I please, but now this is not possible. There is no option in settings to revert to the previous method of infinite scrolling. The new feature does not open the easy-to-navigate gallery, but instead opens the file directory, and I have no intention of looking through the files in my phone to post Better Call Saul memes. An option to reenable the infinite scrolling would be much appreciated.
