New android update unable to add favorite emotes via search

What is the point of discord Nitro and being able to favorite emotes from several servers when they get tossed aside so easily. The android update wiped my entire list which was curated after a few months of adding them in and even worse they removed the feature where you can search emotes and add them back into your favorites right there.

So now I can't even add back in every single one unless I spam them over and over and over again in a futile attempt to get them onto my frequently used again just to be able to re-add them. I had around 50 or so emotes favorited and I'm in about 30 servers. It's a massive pain to search for them and re-add them like this and it feels super clunky when each time I want to use them I have to search over and over again. 

Seriously even when you switch applications it has a different favorite list for each one. Why can't it just save between devices? I won't even get started on the mess that is the new android update. That's a whole new can of worms
