Prevent toxic posture from staff moderation team and users.
For safety measure, i would recommend to Discord Safety Team to check further about how communities manage their team to prevent toxic experiences between users and Staff members.
Here the idea was come:
- Have a new report feature to prevent mods tools abuses . Like, ban users for fun or for no valid reasons (Ex: Ban the user because is a transgender or autistics.)
- Have a ban appeal system with a report abuse button if Mods is toxic and violate the TOS of Discord.
- Report Servers if is bad managed and discriminate users from how the staff is being managed. (Like choosing more their friends than a unknown people because they favoritism them. Doesn't let's others good mods to help peoples when is in the needs.)
- Rating system and feedback to each servers where community could rate the reliability and quality of each servers communities for make others known about how the server was from the eyes of experimented ones. Huge bad ratings could flag servers has potentially malicious or toxic servers and may tell Discord Safety Team to investigate some poor rated communities like Steam does before.
- Have a Discord system bot integrated to each servers to read mods actions logs to prevent toxic mods or admins tools abuses.
There all theses features i would to see in action. I would Discord could understand how servers communities could be toxic when is the staff that abuse their position. Let's innocents users breath alone without the abuse of the hammer ban.
I got some toxic moment with a community server who doesn't being trained to create a brand new community with safety and stable. This could be handy to keep remind these people they cannot abuse their positions like that.
If something is not clear, thanks to specify with your comment. We could fix together without issues.

It's not Discord's job to punish server mods for "banning people for fun" or for "invalid reasons".
Yes I do believe toxic interactions between a server's staff team and it's community should be dealt with but that's the Server Owner's job, not Discord's.
