Discord app widget/shortcut on Android
Hey everyone, I used to have a shortcut to a DM chat on my Android's home screen, and after accidentally deleting the app's data, it's gone (I previously updated the app, but the shortcut was still there), I've been trying to get it back but I completely forgot how I did it, and nothing seems to work now?? I'm pretty sure it wasn't a Chrome shortcut because it brought me straight in that chat. Can anyone help me?

Hi,
I had this problem too and solved it like this:
- You need to get a notification of the DM.
(If you dont have one yet, ask the person who you want the DM of to say something in 1 minute so you can close the app and get the notification) - Hold your finger on the app.
You should see a small menu pop up above it with App Info, Remove etc. and then below it should be a list of usernames of people you talked with recently. - When the one you need is listed, drag it to your home screen.
- You should now have your shortcut back!
I hope this solves the issue for you!
I couldn't find it anywhere either but solved it by noticing the same possibility with other apps!1 - You need to get a notification of the DM.

Problem with this in my experience is it always deep links to a particular message in the DM thread so you have to manually scroll down to see the latest message.
I tried creating a shortcut to a URL that represents that person's profile but it doesn't work either sadly.
