Rotating the screen will sometimes zoom/crop/scale incoming video in the wrong orientation

When staying in a video call Discord mobile sometimes misplaces, crops, zooms or scales incoming video from other chat participants into wrong aspect ratios or orientations.
This happens specifically on Samsung devices and the only way of fixing this is rotating it back to the previous orientation and then to the wished orientation again.
The orientation may also sometimes lock globally when staying in a video call for longer periods of time making it impossible to flip the screen until a phone restart is performed. Closing the app will not fix that issue.
