Moving cursor over server list slows down discord and spikes CPU usage

Recently discord started to slow down whenever i move my cursor over a server icon and my CPU usage spikes with it. Is there a fix inside of discord or is it something with my hardware

    the most likely reason for that is because of the animation and that discord tries to 3D render it. It's really easy to fix but you would have to inject css into discord itself for it to be persistent.  For now you can try to turn on hardware acceleration which will use more of your GPU instead
