Voice messages in chat like what we are used to from services like WhatsApp

Dear Discord Community and Mods,

I believe we all recognize that Discord is a great place that has brought is together in one way or another. Some use it for business purposes and others like using it because it offers a great environment for gamers due to the streaming capability and voice chats. 

But there is still one feature i feel like is missing. This being the option to send voice messages instead of always having to hop into a vc to talk to people or having to type out what you want to say. 

I am honestly not aware of what is needed behind the scenes for this to be an option and if this would put a strain on discords infrastructure (financially). 

Althought at the same time i do have to say that discord offers a platform where friends can stay together and chat over years to come. Furthermore unlike other messengers you are not required to give a phone number and if your current phone number should change then it won't affect your friendlist in any way.
Personally i find it a bit annoying when having to readd somebody after they've changed their phone number (which could result in me ending up not even readding them to my contacts)

This feature has been already suggested multiple times but it seems a large part of the discord community does not visit the discord feedback site.

(There should clearly be an easier way to suggest things and upvote them. This could be implemented into the app itself. Perhaps a page that unlocks at the start/end of the month where you can review the most upvoted suggestions once more and upvote/downvote them.)

With this I hope to bring awarness to this interessing and useful feature and hope it can be implemented into discord as we know it.

    I'll most likely write another small text/article (whatever you wanna call this) about an easier way to review suggestions but it's also come to my attention that voice messages in chat would also help people who have dyslexia.

    Não consigo compreender como isso ainda não está implementado. Inclusive já fiz a sugestão diretamente para o Discord.

    Isso que sou usuário pagante do Nitro e mesmo assim eles não responderam.
