Can't scroll or type on discord

I've recently updated to the most recent version as it was a possible fix to the issue I did have that stopped me interacting with bots on discord. Since I updated, I can no longer type messages or even scroll up or down on channels within any of the servers I am apart of. I have tried un-installing and re-installing, I've made sure my phone is fully up to date and even tried finding solutions online which have so far proved to have no effect. I can access the server menu and change servers but can't do anything within any server. Has anyone got an idea to try and help please?

    I had this issue too. Unfortunately, you said you already tried un/reinstalling, which fixed it for me, so I can't help you there, sorry :(

    Sadly not a fix as such, I reinstalled the previous version through an apk file. Works perfectly fine but just means uninstalling it first to install the older version. I used one from the start of October and I have everything working including chat commands.

    Having the same issues, and since rollback in ios is incredibly difficult it seems like I'm stuck with not having Discord on mobile.

    Restarting the app with ctrl+R works and going to another server and back also resets the state of the scroll.  Thank you

    1. Solution 1: Close Unnecessary Programs.
    2. Solution 2: Turn Off Hardware Acceleration.
    3. Solution 3: Clear Discord Cache Files.
    4. Solution 4: Reset Discord Voice Settings.
    5. Solution 5: Update Your Drivers.
    6. Solution 6: Reinstall Discord.

    Here are the possible reasons below: You don't share a server with the recipient. You've disabled direct messages on your shared server. You have not completed the required membership screening steps in your shared server.

    Here is some suggestion you can try. Clear cache, check your internet connection, try this on another device, contact Discord Support. Check Equipment
