Ability to disable the new profile colors locally
The new profile color customability can be very rough on the eyes, especially if you use Discord when it's dark out. Clicking on people's profiles can be blinding to look at and have poor contrast, preventing proper moderation actions. It would be beneficial to have an option to disable these locally (or server-wide if it becomes an issue for moderation) in either Accessibility or Appearance.

Also nice thing will be to have dark mode option for profiles, so it will automatically dim bright colors to darker range.

Yeah, hey Discord, can we have this please? Not a Nitro option, but for the viewing client to disable the appearance changes.
I'd like to not be blinded by bright profiles, at the very least not without warning (eg, "This user paid us, do you still want to view profile?" or "This profile may contain bright or flashing lights, proceed?"). This is especially problematic for late-night conversations, or early-morning moderation.
Like Honzackcz said, having colour adjustment for profiles that differ substantially from chosen theme would also be an acceptable solution.0 -
Yeah, this is awful. I keep having to deal with getting flashbanged with user profiles. It hurts my eyes, and I'm not even able to change it through accessibility settings. There should just be an ability to turn off all profile colors / moving images in the profile due to the high risk of jerks abusing it. It should be user-side though, and not just a flat out ban on all of it because everyone should be able to express themselves, but people shouldn't be forced to be at risk in order to use your app because people wanted to pay $9.99 for flashing gifs and eye-strain profiles.
It shouldn't be a Nitro exclusive thing to shut this off either because that would spit in the face of anyone who's epileptic. At the very least, just allow people to turn off the colors for them, and have an option for gifs to not move in profiles.
