    This is mainly done for security reasons. I doubt it's feasible to ask for the ability to disable this, as it's the only way that suspicious logins can be prevented.

    I look forward to the day that the custom status feature is fully released. As things stand right now, I'm really excited about it + hope this option popups in one of my servers eventually.

    Manually changing code is another violation of the Terms of Service. I'm sure alternate themes are a highly requested thing that the Discord developers know about.
