Apk is a direct Android exectable, you literally just download and install it (after unistalling the new version) from the official website and all this new crap is magically gone. Also, Google how...

I went back to 15.6 like many others. 16 and 17 is where the trash started for a lot of us, and it just kept degrading past that.
