I see what you mean. You can still do this now in the channel perms tab, but I would see this as a simplified method.

This kind of confuses me, as the mentions tab already seems to serve this purpose.

Existing Feature: The mentions button pulls up all recent pings. Looks like an @ symbol.

If I remember correctly iOS already has Discord the notification sound as the all well known PC ping noise.

The ability to ban, kick, manage server perms etc. is already a feature.
