Seems like only he knows what he has done. He must have done something that was against Discord Terms of Service. You have to open a ticket directly with discord and tell them about the situation.

You can use the inbox, top right of discord. All of your notifications are put into your inbox in case you miss out.

The structure of discord is literally via servers, i also have never heard of anyone needing to use discord bots in DMs. Very odd. Just set up a server for you and your friends to use, its free aft...
