I would like to see the new indicators as a toggle option. Like some others have expressed, the offline indicator is very disruptive for me (trypophobia).

3. New offline status indicators are not good for people who are prone to trypophobia

The shape of the offline indicators dramatically affect me as well. It would be really helpful if the feature were a toggle.
