We need a lite version for discord because the current discord is filling the entire ram and making my phone lag alll the time unlike other apps like whatsapp and telegram that are wayyyy more smooth PLEASE WE NEED A LITE ONE

    Discord is an advanced platform that is better than apps like WhatsApp or Telegram in general. I recommend using the web version or upgrading your phone.

    Yes. Discord is a Advanced platform that simply could not fit in a Lite version. You could goto settings>accessibility and toggle legacy chat input. Also there are modifications for discord on android but

    Yes, Discord has become way too bloated with too many "social features" and gone astray from what it started as: a gaming communication platform for voice/audio on PC.
    Now it's more important to have watch parties on NetFlix, play games in Discord Channels, etc. I have seen Discord go from taking no resources to it becoming a resource hog.
    If you want social media, use Facebook, TikTok, or some other Social Media platform. Leave Discord as a gaming communication platform that we can set raids up on, post information and links about that stuff.
