New way of portraying images sucks
let me be able to read an image with text on it on my large screen without having to open it and then having to close it in the most annoying, unsure way possible. This is the first post I made on this and I made it just to tell you to revert it to the old way. I prefer having to scroll down years just to get to the bottom than having to deal with this stuff

Same bruh, i have vertical portrait monitor, this kind of gallery of grouping those images sucks. Unless it's the Odd numbered pic different from 2*2 or 3*3, all the image will be cropped, hence forced u to CLICK on that Image to view & close, making the process 4x as slow. imagine doing this for millions of image.
Cropped image IS NOT GOOD if we going to see text info in image in a glance. Since all side of image cropped, only MIDDLE of image can be seen.2 -
Agreed. This is pretty terrible. I frequently give support in discord by pasting screenshots of text content. Now, all the useful info is cut off and it randomly chooses useless arbitrary corners of the images to display. I couldn't find a user or server setting to fix this either. It should be removed completely, or made optional (and NOT default) through preferably server settings.
