Substandard interface

For some reason, when I close Discord by the x icon in the far right corner, and keep it closed for more than a few minutes, it fails to reload when I click on the icon again. This has been an issue on multiple devices. The only way to address it is to forcibly close the program via the Windows task manager, and start it again.

Why is your program stuck in the 1990s? Is it not possible to address the multiple flaws with it that might get it to at least 21st century standards?

It would be good for this to be fixed. But will it ever be?
