Ability to grab only member ids from a Guild

My bot has a need to fetch all member user ids from a server to operate, however the api only supports fetching all data about members in a server, such as roles. 

This normally is not a problem, except when a server has hundreds of thousands, or millions of users. This causes it to eat up a lot of memory to grab a bunch of data thats not needed.

Would it possible to have the members fetch api have the ability to only return user ids? Would reduce the gig needed to download 1 million users in a server to less than a 100. Would help out for scalability and performance
