Safety Guidelines
This is for safety guidelines.
Here's my suggestions.
For age-restricted (18+) channels on Discord, launching ID requirement to have access to age-restricted channels like YouTube in South Korea do access to age-restricted videos. It's because teens (13-17) may lie about their age (claiming to be 18+) upon registering Discord to view NSFW content & adult content. That's the reality unfortunately.
For age-restricted, implementing the minimum age (18-21) for different countries.
21+ for age-restricted channels for some countries where age of majority is 21 too.
Age-restricted channels should be allowed during the watershed hours while teens & kids are asleep to keep them safe. Age-restricted is on from 9pm-5am in Canada and off during daylight hours. Age-restricted channels on from 8pm-6am in the USA, midnight to 5am for some countries, etc.
For the age requirement to register Discord, 14+ for Canada residents (without parental control) instead of 13+ like in the USA since many Canadian websites (originally made in Canada) require us to be 14+ unlike the USA (13+). PG-13 in the USA while in Canada it's 14A.
Launching Discord Kids (certified by COPPA) like Messenger Kids with parental control feature to restrict content, time limit, personal information, DM, friends, Discord server, etc. Impossible to friends a kid. When kid wanna friend someone, ask your parents feature & friend's code required when sending a request & must be approved by their parents. Since many kids wanna use Discord like YT Kids & Messenger Kids.
So what do you think of my suggestions ?
Hope this helps to keep users way safer than ever before.
