Please disable automatically leaving the call after 3 minutes on mobile.
A lot of people use discord to call with their LDR partner over night to atleast get the feeling as if the person would be next to them.
Please make it an optional feature to be disconnected.
Many of my friends complain about this too.

Leaving a reply on this to bump it a bit I guess, it's such a hassle to have to restart the call after they leave for just a bit and my long call records are cut now because of the new update. I came to leave feedback about the same thing and I'm glad other people feel the same.

This really made me sad bc I just updated my discord app on my phone and I find out I can’t wait for my partner on a call for more than 3 minutes. Before this wouldn’t be an issue you be able to stay for as long as you would like but this feature is just not good at all and it’s really annoying so hopefully they fix this issue

I have been going through all these threads I'm going to say here what I have said in a previous thread
I myself loved this about mobile, it makes long distance relationships or when I have to go away much more tolerable, I am appalled at the discord team now, not only for removing this but also failing to include it into any changelog or announcement.
first they change it from the former 5 minutes to the current 3 minutes now they're forcing auto disconnect
give us an option. either update and put an option in the settings or revert to how it used to be
I personally have a hypothesis that this is indeed because they sell data and or track calls (which they can do) and they don't want their agents to have to sift through hours of no speaking because there obviously isn't any information they can sell to larger companies to have targeted ads

There really should be an on and off toggle to disable the auto disconnect feature! This auto disconnect is really annoying. My partner’s phone dies often at night cause of them forgetting to charge it, so I like to wait in call!
Customer support said back to me;
“As you already know, that feature is currently not in the app, but if you would like to see changes to these systems in the future, then you can definitely vote up the suggestions at feedback.discord.com.”

like other people have mentioned there was no announcement about this change either which is the more annoying part. if youre going to make that kinda change at least make an announcement about it

Yes I completely agree and it seems they don't care about it because they have been a lot of post about it and nothing has changed. If someone knows another app who does the job I will take it. Thanks
