Support for IOS shortcuts

Currently (and a little bit bizarrely) discord is in IOS shortcuts, but it doesn’t actually work, all it does is open the discord app and it only shows the IOS conversation suggestions. (I think the reason it shows in shortcuts is because discord supports IOS conversation suggestions but it doesn’t work properly in shortcuts)

I use discord every day, and I have lots of routines I do every day.
I go for a walk with my friend every day so I message them when I leave and join a call.

IOS shortcuts is a super powerful tool built into IOS and has things like automations that can happen when you do certain things on your phone, at a time of day or even when you enter or leave a location.
It also manual shortcuts that you can make widgets, Home Screen buttons and even use Siri to activate.

I think it would be amazing if discord added iOS shortcuts support, I would love to see the following actions:

Send a message to a channel, the input box should be what ever text or even variables from the shortcut you need to include. This would be a super powerful and extremely useful tool.

Join a voice channel.

Open a message channel, this would be useful if you wanted to make a Home Screen icon that takes you directly to a channel or DM you want to look at or message.

DM voice or video call a friend or group.

I agree that Discord's iOS app has a lot of room for improvement, especially in their iOS "conversation suggestions" feature. I'm still unable to specify a channel I need to share in consistently, when I try to share media. After I select a server, I can't specify a channel. The suggested channels list rarely works for me. iOS Discord would also greatly benefit if it supported iOS deep link functionality.

A few other actions I'd like to see:

• Set online status (online/idle/dnd/invisible, can be paired with focus automations)
• Set custom status (can be paired with location, app, time, and sleep automations)
• Get recent mentions (+ filter capabilities?)
• Mute/deafen

I suspect Discord would be rather hesitant to add support for sending messages since it falls in a bit of a "grey area" for selfbotting. There are genuine use cases for this, but it would also be very subject to abuse, especially in public servers. Maybe they could add a new permission for "automated messages" 🤷
