Almost got banned from a discord for repeated posts even though it wasn't me

I sent a picture of cheesecake with the text "cheesecake" in a discord group. It takes a few moments to load and then all of the sudden the cheesecake picture gets sent multiple times. As I am deleting these more of the same posts keep coming and I am just trying to stop this. I was on phone and restarting my phone didn't work either. When I told the people of the group what was going on they didn't believe me and as I was telling them I only sent 1 cheesecake more cheesecake pictures kept coming. Eventually it just stopped and me and a mod deleted the cheesecake picture duplicates. Luckily they believed me when someone else said it happened to them too. I tried recreating this situation in a personal discord group but no luck.
