Server creator has been inactive for years, how to transfer?

The creator made the account years ago and made someone a mod, however, the creator has since deleted his account, but not transfered ownership. How are we able to transfer ownership to make adjustments? Are we forced to create a new server?

  I think  you can make a ticket for that in https://dis.gd/contact > ownership transfer, otherwise there is no way to transfer ownership without the owner
