Make channel topic more obvious/clear/pop out more
I have often thought this, but I find "Channel Topic" to be a really useful feature. But the "#WELCOME TO GENERAL-CHAT" part just casts a huge shadow over it, and it makes me assume like the text underneath is some kind of generic technical jargon like "post here to engage with other people."
It would be really nice if channel topics were clearer. Especially after it gets pushed to the top of the page. Put them in a box somewhere? Maybe a one-time pop-up (optional?) to explain the channel if someone goes in it for the first time?

The channel topic is right next to the name of the channel on desktop. On mobile if you swipe to the left, where the list of server members is, the topic is posted right above that list.
I do agree though that there should be a pop-up that tells you the channel topic the first time that you go into it. I have embarrassed myself too many times by seeing a channel named something like "your pictures" and assuming it was for any pictures and then posting a meme and then it was actually for pictures made using a specific app. That is a real-life example. I have more... Unfortunately.
