The new color and shape of the logo is frankly disgusting. It’s become far too smooth and looks like a Reddit remix or something. The old color went well with the dark theme of discord but now it just opposes it. The old detailing of the logo was what really set it aside from the other platforms and made it special. The text also went well with the old logo. Now that’s been lost and it doesn’t feel special anymore. It feels like it’s headed down the road where improvements are what ruin games. This is something that needs to be removed and set straight. There are so many things that the dev team could have improved for their birthday. This just wasn’t it. This is not the way to improve your product. The logo has gone from a cool looking face, to something that was just plain stupid looking. Discord was a really cool platform. Now it just looks like the logo making a depressed smile.

Every single person I’ve mentioned this to has hated the change. Even people who have never heard of discord disapproved of the change when I showed them a before and after image.

Not only does the logo change look bad, it makes Dicord seem like every other app. The old logo was the fist thing you see downloading the app and what you see every you open it up. With the new logo taking its place, the first thing people are now going to see is this over simplistic garbage.
