Auto role with special invite link

Hello,

Discord has grown past its uses for gaming, and large companies are now using it to interact with clients, and their communities. I believe the ability to send a special invite link (perhaps password protected) would really benefit large servers with a lot of members. 

It would speed up the process of verifying a users identity, allowing them to jump straight into private channels, and get to work. 

This link could automatically provide a certain role or set of roles to the user upon joining. 

I hope you consider this idea!

  I also thought of this, so I'd like to paste what I was going to write here in order to bump the thread and show that more people agree with this:

  Let's say that you have a Discord server for a classroom and you have teachers that are super keen to help students succeed, maybe even teachers that already use Discord. Your Discord has a text channel for each class your class does and having your teacher's input in the conversation regarding those classes would be really helpful, as agreed by the other students in the server. However, it would not exactly be pertinent that they see the student's-only sections, like #general.

  What if, as a server moderator, you could make a special invite link that gives the joiner a role upon joining? That way, you could make a "Teacher" role that gives them permission only to see the class channels and not the others.

  Sure, you could just give them the role afterwards, but maybe you don't want there to be a time gap between them joining and them having reduced access to the server. This time gap could be long when you have new people joining every week from the hub and you'll never figure out which one the teacher is until they introduce themselves. What I really wish for is a clean system that allows a server moderator to do this automatically without any fear of issues.

  This could be used elsewhere as well. For inter-school communication, you could make a link that states the school you're from. For global groups, you could specify which continent you're from.

  To have the permissions to make such a link, you would need to have a role that outranks the roles you're granting via the link, have "Manage Roles" permission, and have "Create Invite" permission. These are just permissions you already need to invite someone and give them a role.

   

  This would be a very useful feature for my server specifically. What about everyone else?

  I also need the same invite link feature.
  
  Like I want a special invite link that can be shared to one specific class, then whoever joins in with that link should be given a specific role automatically and multiple such links can be created for sharing in multiple classes simultaneously for speeding up the process.
  I hope I find some way to do it.
