Color-customized taskbar notifications for different classes of notifications, such as specific usernames (and audio-notification permissions)
Not all notifications should be equal. Sometimes I'll miss important messages from important friends, as I receive a lot of messages. It'd be really nice if we could customize certain users to appear as a different color in the task bar. Yes I understand @here and @everyone can be muted as well as announcements, but I'd really like to use those features as well instead of resorting to a default of "mute". But if those appeared as, let's say green perhaps I could use them in certain servers. Perhaps instead of a generic red circle for all notifications, give the user a ring of color around the Discord icon for different types of notifications (whether that be server based, a user tied to a certain color, or general notifications). For instance: VIPfriend1 is red, VIPfriend2 is purple, VIPServer is yellow, friends are green, and all other notifications are black.
Side tangent: but custom audio notifications for certain users would also be nice, but who wants to hear a beep every time someone messages you? Allowing certain users to make a noise would also be nice, based on customizable activity conditions. For instance, I may want VIPfriend1 to make a noise every time they message me as it is a professional contact. When an unpermissioned user messages me, I do not want any audio-notification. And when VIPfriend2 messages me, I DO NOT want a beep every time - but if I don't respond for 1 minute or 5 minutes or 10 minutes etc., I'd like an audio notification. An audio notification for when I have not replied for 10 minutes to an outstanding message would be an incredibly useful feature, especially for those multi-tasking.
