[Honestly, why?] Discord's Partnership Program being removed(/replaced?).
Hey there! I'm back after the… incident with the username update.
And after viewing the following video by NTTS, my brain just thought “why?”.
Now, this feedback post is probably going to be a collection of people's comments, votes and other stuff. But mainly Discord, why in the everliving hell… would you think it's a good idea to close a community oriented program? Like why?
Even though I am not a part of it, the partnership status and system allows servers to have a special connection with Discord and it's employee's. To a point where there would have been an issue, a partner could have been helped within a short amount of time. Closing down this vital program just removes even more trust people had in Discord and it's goal of being a “everyone” oriented platform.
People in the comments will probably provide some other reasons or arguments. But honestly Discord, this stuff is coming from whatever coperate latter and it's not making any sense at all.
If you want to comment on this post, like it or respond to it. Make sure you create an account, discord uses zendesk without their oauth, making it harder for people to instantly comment (This was a feature back in the day, this is now removed). Just like the belief people had in the platform.
