Falsely Disabled Account
My account has been disabled since October 3rd, I have sent 3 tickets in, They have been closed as solved for no reason and I have NEVER received an email regarding why my account was disabled, lots of users recently have said they were disabled falsely too. I have lots of important documents and friends on there, what do I do? Every ticket I've sent in is labeled as solved with no response, I have not received a single email from discord regarding any of my tickets, and I have been ignored or redirected to the support forum when reaching out through social media. This isn't fair to me, and it isn't fair to others. my user is crimsonctrl and I am getting nervous as time ticks down, I'm extremely afraid that they'll wait till its deleted to give me the time of day.

Truly curious, I am not sure what you could have done to provoke that reaction, not to mention the fact that they did not alert you of the reasoning.

my favorite fun fact is according to better business bureau Discord has a 1/5 stars, i think it’s mostly cause of support issues lol.

And I quite literally have ZERO clue what I did. I’m only active in 2 servers. My former team and my friends both which are pretty normal. Not part of any nsfw servers or active in any that are problematic so I don’t know?

reject the response saying that you were not informed as to why you were disabled in the first place. this could be in your spam but it’s possible they never sent it.

Accidentally used the wrong email in my BBB complaint and they ignored the evidence I provided in the initial complaint, I have rejected their response and provided the ticket ID to them.

Alright I rejected it saying I still was not informed on why it was disabled and I don’t know what terms I was said to violate. And said thank you for taking taking time to review. Hopefully they help me out. At this point I doubt I will get my account back but I want my mind as ease that there was a actual reason

I’m sorry you have to deal with this Silent, I’m sure it was the algorithm falsely flagging you, it happens a lot in these cases but most times it happens to be the end. It may have been what happened to me, but I’m not sure.

I’m fully prepared to get my lawyer involved as this is strictly unfair. Not to mention since I can’t access the account I cannot disable nitro charges, so they are charging me for a service I cannot access nor use the benefits the charges bring.

discord needs to do better. i understand that as a business and as a service they aim to protect their company and they can choose to not provide that service to individuals, it’s their right as a business. but sometimes i feel like they need staff to address the proper concerns of their customers, not just a generic “sorry you have violated the rules. that’s all i can tell you.” that sounds like a discord mod that muted you cause you called him fat.

Indeed, they can do far better than they are doing right now, and as a business as big as them, they SHOULD be doing better to protect and maintain their user experience.

you never know. they probably look over it to make sure rules are being followed *shrug* wish they did that with tickets after falling down a rabbit hole of finding a lot of ppl with the same issue

Here’s a little funny detail about their response to my complaint, they redirected me to the appeal system, which I explicitly wrote an entire 2 paragraphs about how they have ignored and disregarded my issue.

I’m currently waiting for them to process and I have to say, if it gets denied I will make another complaint with the correct email.

Got a msg back from BBB, they just said they filed it and discord didn’t respond and just disregarded my “unsatisfactory”. So I made a new on rewording and now just asking for information on why my account was disabled. And NOT to fix it. Hopefully I get somewhere this time.

This is becoming a bigger issue, I have seen multiple users on all social media platforms seek help through reaching out in replies, only to be redirected to scammers that will say they can fix it and then take your money and run. Discord is doing nothing to resolve this issue, and thats BAD.

They should really be doing better with the amount of support and cashflow they have from millions of users. If they do not value us, they do not value their success. If they don't value their success, they don't deserve us.

I've opened 2 BBB complaints, both which they said they would reply back to me in the ticket I have had open for 3 MONTHS. Nearing 4 :). In the near 4 months, I have had 1 human interaction, and nothing since then. 2 months since that reply. Discord is a legitimate scam for support, it's ridiculous at this point.

That’s crazy, for context I made this ticket on my alternate account attempting to reach out to direct them to the actual problem, Clyde responded almost immediately and gave no help whatsoever. He closed the ticket and set it as solved, I reopened it and said that he was not seeing what I meant, and to check the actual ticket. How is it that a bot can respond so quickly to one user, but not to another?

Once more my ticket has been closed as solved without response nor resolution by the bot Violet, this is becoming extremely irritating.

Reminder. I sent them a physical freaking letter and they ignored it. Many tweets, twitter dms, facebook posts, facebook dms (got a reply, sec I mentioned how I was ignored, they ignored, its company policy I think.), and even emailed their board and pinged their ceo. Only way your getting their attention is with $$$.

Alright boys, looks like this is the end of the road for me. My ticket has been closed multiple times now, we’ve hit the 14 day mark so I’ve just lost all hope when it comes to a response. I’ve contacted discord through social media, email, and their ticket system, and 2 BBB complaints, one of them they didn’t even respond to. This really sucks, but hey, there’s always a chance you guys will get help from them, I wish you luck.

Accounts are deleted within 30 days. I have done everything and yet they have the audacity to copy and paste a response saying “no.” without even looking at the evidence I provided.

Just a heads up, the moment 30 days pass and they delete your account, they will close all your appeal tickets and say that the username this appeal is for doesn't exist in their database.

Since November 3rd, my discord account has been deleted, it was nice talking with you all and trying to solve our issues, but it’s time for me to move on from this platform and find somewhere else to chat with my friends, I won’t be treated unfairly, See y’all around.
