A Mute Triggering Words/Phrases Feature

I’m sure its a commonly discussed topic but I genuinely think the ability to mute specific words or phrases should be added sooner rather than later. There is thousands of communities with hundreds of thousands of members and not all of these members are going to understand the depth of the words or phrases they are saying and how they affect certain people and most of the time it isn’t even their fault.

User responsibility can only go so far because you can’t truly understand every persons triggers or things that set them off which can be depressing.

Which is why a muted words or phrase feature would be incredibly helpful because all of that responsibility is held on the person who can actively secure their own space. Making discord their own safe space.

I strongly believe that the ability to mute specific words or phrases should be implemented promptly. In large communities, not everyone comprehends the impact of their words, and expecting users to be fully responsible for others' triggers is unrealistic. Introducing a muted words feature would empower individuals to actively create their own safe space on platforms like Discord. stick merge
