Discord helped after 2 months
It has finally happened, Discord was able to get back to me, and help me get my hacked account back after a two month wait. Here's how it went…
About 2 months ago, I fell for the old test my game scam and lost my account. I put in a ticket that same day. I got an response from Discord later that night telling me Trust and Safety will investigate. I waited for 2 weeks trying not to put in another ticket since they say do not do that. Sadly, they only told me there was an account on the email I was trying to get my original account back on. I didn't put an account there though, it was the hacker. I told them in the same ticket that it was the hacker who placed it there and it need to be removed right away. After this response from Discord, I than waited about 1.5 months of just waiting and twiddling my thumbs while the hacker was trying to hack my other friends. As of yesterday, I got an email from support saying that they reviewed my case and reverted my Discord back to my original account.
I am both happy, but still very annoyed with Discord. I'm glad that in the end, I was able to get my Discord back, which had several years of Nitro on it, but to wait that long to get it back is still unacceptable. If Trust and Safety is truly overwhelmed as some people may say, then Discord needs to focus their resources there. Also, these bots need to be improved, since right now people are claiming the bots are closing their tickets and no human being is reviewing these tickets. Another tip I have for Discord is to add a feature that essentially will state that are ticket is still active and not abandoned, as many of us want at the bare minimum to know we are not forgotten and that we just have to wait. There should also be a freezing system where a if you put in a ticket on an account that will soon be deleted, then an active ticket will keep it open for those who are at that risk.
So guys, that's my story. I know a lot of us are waiting forever on our tickets to be resolved. Even though support should not take anywhere near this long to get back to us and help us, all I can say is just wait. I feel sorry for those who's accounts will likely get deleted from prolonged waiting. Hopefully Discord will figure something out. Spamming tickets will not help either, as their bots will just “solve” and auto close them. This is sadly unacceptable, but it is the current reality. Their support used to be much quicker than this. What happened, I don't know, but hopefully they will fix it. So, if you really want your hacked account back, all I can say is either give up and make a new account or prepare for a long wait. I was hacked on October 9, 2023 by emilykent2, who claims to be a Steam support member, but she's actually a fake one, so she took control of my account. I contacted Discord about this, but they're taking a long time for them to help me out…

thats so great to hear and happy u got listed out bro, has been 2 months for me aswell with a similar game scam but now sadly due to my impatience ig i made buncha tickets and all i see is them getting closed and ignored. frustration is a human habit tho, hoping i get some help soon too.
