Mobile UI is Bad in every way

I have never experienced true psychic damage until I opened the discord app to find it unwillingly changed to something so blatantly worse. Beyond that, the first thing this update graciously gifted me was a horrendous bug where when i hit send it would not delete what I had previously said.

I cannot swipe to the side easily, It is the definition of chore to navigate to dms and back to servers or even find the dms at all. Before, it was a simple Swipe Swipe . Out of chat, up the server list.

The weirdly dark blue background makes reading difficult, the contrast is all over the place, the icons text and just about everything now feels cluttered and large on the screen. The new trend of making every single button a baby-proofed rounded circle makes it hard to locate anything because my eyes glide off of it. If this is anybody's definition of eligible I implore them to talk to a single person that doesn't work for out of touch company graphic design. Who do they test this with that actually enjoys this? Is literally a single person being consulted before these changes go through?

Even just an option to turn the dark mode back to its original gray would be miles better than whatever is currently going on. Thank you for your time.
