New UI is a mess

I have been using the mobile app as my primary, and nearly exclusive, platform for Discord for seven years now, and I share the exact same feelings as every other user giving complaints about the extremely low quality of the new Discord UI. It's awful to use, and makes my experience more slow, confusing, buggy, and unwieldy.

I would say an option to toggle between the two is fine, but I've realized that would just be boiling frogs. Eventually it would go away again when enough people have been acclimated to the discomfort of it.

I don't want any solutions or fixes to the new UI, I want the old UI back. And failing that, I want suggestions from other users for a good mobile alternative to Discord.

Thank you for your time if you do in fact listen to this complaint and revert the changes.

  I usually dont mind the changes. Ive used discord for over 5 years and have never felt this awful about an update.

  Same here. One of my devices had had a severely outdated version of discord (we're talking several years) until about a week ago. The change from a version of the UI from 2018 to the last UI was less of a shock than from the last UI to this one.
