New Layout on Mobile
The new layout is awful. the devs continue to make mobile worse for phone-only users. I can't check things like usual and the format is all-around atrocious. You can't navigate this app correctly anymore. It used to be a unique app that was just like PC. That was a huge gimmick for many many people. It was *good.* I've been a Discord user for years now and I'm thinking about moving to another app and not purchasing nitro anymore. This app has very quickly become a hellscape to navigate and to have on my phone. The statuses feel obsolete now since I feel like I'm jumping through hurdles by just wanting to see my friends' statuses, see if they're online, etc. I really hope Discord listens to their users for once and implements a change/reverse. And quick. They're definitely on the road to losing money at this rate, if they haven't already.

Agreed. The app for phone users is atrocious and hard to navigate. The previous mobile version was better than this recent update. It was more organized than this mess. Please devs listen to your users.

It's so difficult to use Discord for communication now. I can't swipe to see who's online in a server, I have to do tons of legwork to see if I have DMs and who from, I can't easily access pins, I can't easily access threads, and the overall look of everything is frustrating and confusing enough to make me want to quit using it. Even now that I've learned how to access things, it's frustrating to even consider using my phone. I'm tempted to start using it on Desktop only, which sucks because I used Discord as an alternative to texting because of the previous ease of use. I was considering getting Nitro in 2024, but not anymore. This app is becoming like all the competitors, and the reason I use Discord is because of how it *wasn't* like that.
