Please allow users to revert to old UI
I refuse to update my mobile discord because of all the negative changes to Discord's mobile UI. My friends have had very negative and overwhelming experiences with it. They changed the dark theme to not be low-contrast anymore, which is bad for their more sensitive vision. They removed the ability to sort searches by date, a feature I use often to search for old messages. Apparently you can't see pinned images in the pinned images tab, another feature I use often. Overall, looking at the list of adjustments made to the UI, I cannot see myself enjoying it ever, and I pray that my mobile discord doesn't update automatically because apparently even those with auto-updates turned off have been forced into this new UI. To me, the worst part of it is that there is not even an option to use the old UI. Why not? Allowing users to enjoy the old UI or the new UI at their pleasure would give almost everyone what they want. Why is this update directed towards making the user experience downright worse? Please at least allow users to switch between old and new UI.

Would like to add: I also use dark theme, because it's easier on my eyes. Apparently, you can change the dark theme back to its original form by switching the theme to automatic and switching your phone to dark mode. I think this is an incredibly meticulous way of going about it. Just let me change my discord to the color I want without having to go through so many hoops. Locking interesting little color schemes behind paywalls, and now this?

Addendum: the above method of getting og dark mode doesnt always work, apparently! Discord devs, if you're reading this: your new update to dark mode is a visual nightmare to many. Please give us the og dark mode or you will lose users.
