Dyslexia issues with new background colors
The new higher contrast options mobile discord has by default make it more difficult to read due to my dyslexia. There isn't really an option that gives a neutral tone background like we had in the past without the use of nitro. This is basically locking an accessibility feature behind a pay wall for me. There really needs to be a “classic” color theme or something with the neutral tone we had in the past. Right now the only options are high contrast white, black, and blacker black. Returning a neutral color option really needs to be considered, this is an accessibility issue

Let me weigh in here. With what used to be called Dyslexia, whereby they have a cognitive disorder, color background does matter because their brain refuses to process text on the page in any other color, except a neutral tone that is not 100% white or 100% black, Off-white or Off-black. These dyslexics are often times huge gamers, but do not necessarily read the text in the game, because of the same issue. If they have a device the speaks the text, then they know what the text says every time. I have a nephew who had this issue too! Its real, and it is an accomodation need.
However, I don't expect any changes anytime soon, after reading post after post after post dissing the new UI. Obviously, here has become like spotify, perhaps, where by their forum doesn't really do anything either? Hopefully, your IT department will prove me very wrong here and fix the UI and the Neutral tone issue rather immediate, while I completely ignore my own issue, and don't name it here.
