Discord alternatives list

I case floods of poor community feedback and lost nitro subs fails…. post any decent alternatives to discord you find here so we can all find a new home…

 

Someone already suggested:
“I have been testing out Revolt and so far it's mobile app looks like Discord enough for me to be happy with it. plus it's open source and has community made themes!”

  Only used it briefly, but I kinda like Matrix.  Yeah, I know it sounds weird, given the context of the movie, but it's generally very Discord-like, and has a high emphasis on privacy.

  Interestingly, it doesn't have one particular app to use it - it's sort of like it's own messaging internet, and apps are the different browsers.  So you can pick whichever layout and stuff you like.  Element is sort of the main/official app to access the network.  It's the one I've tried so far - seems easy to use, and not too different from classic Discord. =)

  Would love to try out Revolt but sadly there's no app on iOS :(
