UI update glitch

Now, I'm not vehemently against the new ui like most people are, I don't mind it and it actually simplifies some things. But there's a couple of glaring issues. Number one, the extreme lag. Not sure why an update that was supposed to reduce lag by cutting down on the number of messages stored actually made it worse. A lot of people do not like the new dark mode, frankly I don't care but for some it is an accessibility issue. One of the most horrendous glitches I've seen was a bug making users uncontrollably spam. Which is horrible because of a couple things. Most larger servers will timeout or ban you if you spam, and also if a ping was in the original message, you are now spam pinging which will definitely get you banned in most servers. I hate the fact you can't search for specific messages anymore, it was an incredibly useful function. 

TLDR: Ui is mediocre; glitches and lag are horrendous.
