Twitch reverted a much disliked update, wondering what's taking so long with Discord.
Like the title says. Another large company rolled out a new update, people hated it, provided the feedback, then the update was reverted. I get that it's not the same as a layout, but Twitch of all companies listened.
We've done the same here, on the app itself, and on twitter. Discord rolled out an updated that most people disliked, we're providing the feedback, and yet nothing. Not a single word other than (paraphrasing here) “too bad, get used to it.” In my opinion that's just bad business to blatantly disregard users feedback. You're losing users trust, you're losing subs, you're losing daily users (on iOS discord went from #3 to #6/7 on social networking since the update). Generally just wondering why it's going ignored. It's been 2 weeks, we're “used to it”, we still hate it. We're still providing the feedback saying we hate it, with specifics; yet not a single response.

I've cancelled Nitro till this gets rolled back, they might listen when the piggy bank gets hurt.

What Dune Drifter said. I think the only thing they will listen to is a sharp decline in revenue. Personally, I refuse to give them money until they roll this back. If we all do that, that might get their attention. It's pretty clear they're going out of their way to ignore feedback, otherwise.
